Drafting, not publishing. AI is brilliant at producing a first draft of almost anything: social posts, email sequences, product descriptions, customer replies. Let it do the creative grunt work and spend your time editing, not starting from scratch.

Research and summarisation. Competitor analysis, trend watching, content ideation — AI can do in minutes what used to take an afternoon.

What creates more problems

Fully automated posting without review. I learned this one the hard way. The moment you let AI publish directly without a human check, you lose quality control and eventually trust.

Replacing judgement calls with AI. Pricing decisions, brand voice, customer escalations — these need a human. AI can suggest; you decide.

The rule I follow

Automate drafts, not decisions. Keep human approval wherever there's risk. If something could embarrass you or cost you money, a human should see it first.
