Why The AI Growth Lab Exists
The positioning question that shaped everything: what is this actually for?
The question I kept getting
Every time I mentioned what I was building, people asked the same thing: "So it's like Jasper? Or Copy.ai?" No. It's not a content tool. It's not a chatbot wrapper. It's a system that runs the business loop — from researching what to make, to creating it, to publishing it, to measuring whether it worked.
The difference matters because content tools give you words. This gives you a workflow.
What made it click
I realised the value wasn't in the AI output. Any founder can get ChatGPT to write a blog post. The value was in the system around it — the approval step, the weekly review, the feedback loop. The AI does the work; the system makes sure the work actually matters.
That's why I called it a business operating system, not an AI writing tool.
The honest bit
Useful AI needs a business workflow, not just clever prompts. The prompts are the easy part. The hard part is building something you actually use every week.
For founders thinking about this
Before you build an AI tool, ask yourself: what business process does this replace? If the answer is 'nothing specific', you're building a toy. Start with the workflow, then add the AI.
