TAIGL is the product company of The AI Growth Lab — a founder-led studio that spent its first years making practical AI tools, guides and audits for small businesses. Those taught us what founders actually need: not another toolkit, but research and execution they can trust, on a phone, at the speed of a decision.
So we're building TAIGL: a company where the AI does the work in the open — with sources attached, confidence stated, and its mistakes on the record. Scout Lite is the first public capability. Everything else follows the same rule: it appears when it's real, labelled with what it is.
How we work
We build in public. The Journal is our build log — not a content calendar. Our Proof page grades evidence by who it belongs to, including us. When something isn't finished, the tag says so, on the page, before you buy or join anything.
Why TAIGL exists.
TAIGL starts with one person, not a pitch deck. The AI Growth Lab began as a one-person studio making practical AI things for small businesses — the Starter Kit, the Free AI Guide, hands-on audits. That earlier work is still alive; it's on the shelf for a reason: it paid for the lesson.
The same question kept coming back from the founders who used them, in different words: "can I trust this?" Tools multiplied; trust didn't. What a founder actually needs is research they can check — on the phone they really run the business from, at the speed of a decision.
So TAIGL is being built by that same person, in the open: AI that does the work with its sources attached and its confidence stated. It gets proven first on a business we own — Modern Mystic, always labelled founder-operated. Scout Lite is the first capability we ask a stranger to hold us to.
The studio's standard has not changed since the first £9.99 sale: never ship mock output as real, never publish without approval gates, never claim revenue that doesn't exist.
